Our Mission

We exist to love God, love others, and make disciples.

In Matthew 22 Jesus says, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

We want to be a church that takes what Jesus said seriously. To that end, we desire to be a group of people who love God passionately and love our neighbors well. We believe that if we are able to do these two things faithfully, then we will fulfill the Great Commission where Jesus tells us to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).

Love God

The greatest commandment is for us to love God. We are called to love God with all of our hearts, souls, and minds. We believe that our obedience to the commands of God comes from a heart of gratitude in response to what the Lord has done for us.

How do we love God? We love God through corporately worshipping together on Sunday mornings, through Bible study, prayer, joyful obedience to the commands of God, and the observation of the sacraments of baptism and communion.

Love Others

The Bible says we should love our neighbors as ourselves. We freely admit that we are still growing in this area, but our heart is to be a church that is marked by sacrificial love for our neighbors. We long to serve, love, and bless the city and neighborhoods where God has placed us. We also seek to be a community that loves and cares for each other well. Read more about our Life Groups here

How do we love others? We love others through participating in Life Groups, through serving our city, and through seeking to place the needs of others over our own personal needs.

Make Disciples

We believe that disciples make disciples and that our ability to make disciples is a distinguishing mark of Christian maturity. We also believe that making disciplines is a natural byproduct of our love for God and others. We seek to make disciples not only by seeing the Lord save people, but also by seeing current believers mature in their faith.

How do we make disciples? We make disciples by intentionally sharing the gospel with those around us and by helping other Christian brothers and sisters grow in maturity.

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
